The customer's solution Oracle’s Manufacturing Operations Center (MOC) uses the concept of providing web- and role-based dashboards for different employees to gain the insights they need too. The employees can access the dashboards via standard web browsers without any additional components needed at the client computers.
Goal:
Create and deliver meaningful reports and dashboards to users
Basically all reporting components access data in the summary tables maintained by MOC’s data processing functions. Due to the flexible architecture of MOC it is also possible to access and include data from various other data sources. This enabled the customer to quickly create customized reports that use data from MOC’s Oracle tables combined with data from their own MS SQL Server databases.
In addition to adaptable standard dashboards MOC comes with the ‘Manufacturing Operations Center Catalog’ a really huge set of components that allow creation of customized dashboards for almost any requirement without programming skills.
