We released a new IIoT Adapter device driver for Sinumerik 840D with HMI-Advanced or HMI-Embedded that runs directly at the machine and adds an OPC UA Server, MTConnect and SQL Database functionality to these controllers. The driver supports data aquisition in solicited (time based) and unsolicited (event driven) mode in near real time. Writing of parameter values is also possible.
We released updated versions of our CNCnetPDM IIoT Adapters for machines equipped with Siemens Sinumerik 840D and 828D controllers that add new features and enhances compatibility with MS Windows 11 and Server 2022 Operating Systems (up to version 23H2).
Due to Microsofts 'DCOM Hardening' efforts that have a huge impact on all programs which access remote devices via OPC Classic we released important updates for our Sinumerik OPC Classic GUI program and the respective CNCnetPDM device driver. Both, the GUI program and the device driver now use the new authentication levels required for successful communication.
